Mike’s (Fuentes) blast beats on Texas… is simply top-notch. Tracks like Sambuka and Texas Is Forever showcases the raw and aggressive vibe that defines PTV’s sound. The tracks still gives the same PTV signature sound, but this time PTV gets a little experimental in some tracks like The Divine Zero, Circles, and Bedless, in which we can hear some pads and synths. I considered their previous album Collide With The Sky as a benchmark and I can say that they’ve really one-upped it in Misadventures. However, I was greatly impressed on how this album sounds. I am not a hardcore PTV fan so I am not that hyped in this album. Misadventures is Pierce The Veil’s fourth studio album released under Fearless Records on May 13, 2016. The album has two editions: the standard edition, which consists of eleven tracks and a deluxe edition which has the standard’s eleven tracks plus two bonus tracks which are acoustic versions of Track 4 (Floral & Fading) and Track 7 (Today I Saw The Whole World). Pierce The Veil (PTV) fans held on ’til May. So now they’re getting the album they’ve waited for like four years.
